On today's show we each selected two beers from the Beer of the Day Vault and sample those beers from six different breweries, including a mango strange brew from Founders. We share details on our upcoming visit on Saturday, July 30th to the San Diego Beer & Music Festival. We also take a look at the latest beer news and listener comments.
From beer the day world headquarters in Elk Grove California, it's another exciting episode of the beer of the day we just started the show and the computer crashed and now we're starting again we're back and we've been out of
town in various places the last couple of weeks and or back here with the local crew and we did another beer draft where we each selected two beers out of the one hundred and four beers that we have in the beer they have all and we have six kids who died. Joining me tonight guys that were back. It's great to be back. It's been a while for you. Yeah and yeah probably six we're adding It's been only six weeks since I recorders show. Well you sound better than ever now and look better than ever and I don't know what it is but it's working for a special girl before we get to the first because I wanted to quickly mention that as this podcast is being released on Thursday July twenty eighth on Saturday July thirtieth. We will be at the San Diego pier and music festival from six to ten P.M. at T.C. park in Liberty Station incent you go. They're going to have fifty breweries there are over one hundred craft beers. So any of our listeners that want to attend. Please feel free to join us. We will
be recording some audio for the podcast and trying out a lot of great craft beer. So I hope to see some you there. All right so let's get into the first beer the night we just tried it. We're going to try it again like we never had it before. I will say luckily I have a little time to breathe now this is the buxom blonde from Loomis Basin Brewing Company here in Loomis California Loomis is up by Roseville kind of a suburb of Sacramento a big suburb a lot of people live up in Roseville and Loomis is kind of on the outskirts of that is the country part of Rose Hill and what was the bottom on date there on the on the scale five thirty one two thousand and fifteen. So it's and it's a nice age Pilsener Yes that's what you're supposed to do with
hills right age them yeah. Luckily this one ages pretty well yeah really. You know the notes that I took off of it is it's it's a full bodied pilsner it's not watery it's not white. It's easy drinking but it definitely has its its own taste you know it you can tell that it's a it's a special beer. It is it is a golden typical Golden pilsner color a little cloudy about one finger of head on there. Only you get some horn qualities. I think they're almost a little tougher make that I think it's going to a little bit. Yeah the bottle. There was a little skunky aroma. It wasn't so apparent in the taste which is good but there is definitely a corniness but that it's hard to tell if that's because it's a little skunk or if that's. As it's a pilsner you know. And the flavor I don't get much skunking it's a pretty classic pilsner a lot of flavor very flavor forward. You get those two row malts up front and it's pretty well balanced very drink a bowl. I think you could drink this one on a hot
summer day and you couldn't go wrong here. Yeah. Andy's face but it just shows you all how drinkable it is as he finished as Del says it's so drivel I'm making this they don't give me more faith. Now it's not terrible. I think that in its prime sort of an even better beer but yes I agree pretty solid and the label it says always fresh. We are not doing this beer justice but I am glad that we cleared it out of the beer the day vault to make room for other newer beers. So sometimes one just doesn't fit a theme and it ends up staying in there longer than we would like and there's a couple here tonight that we're going to do that will help with that situation and do you just got back from Oregon Portland. Yeah. You have any good beers up there. I'm assuming you did. Yeah we went to you know my body doesn't drink so I only really had beers when I was out to dinner and things like that. But we did have some hot Valley who are going to see later on the show tonight. I had this one called citrus mist mistress citrus mistress citrus mistress. I like that the great fruit I.P.A.. I thought it was amazing. It really was super light on the great fruit. It's a great fruit peel I.P.A. it's specifically the peel and which is the most bitter part of the great For it is in the IT that could ruin a beer but it really they did it right. Super enjoyable beer I had it with a pizza. It was perfect. Awesome. Sounds good. I let's move into the next beer. This is from Brooklyn Brewery in Brooklyn New York it's called. East India Pale Ale and this one is another one that's been in the fridge for a while I can't vouch for how well it's held up over time but hopefully it's good. We've had a couple beers from Brooklyn Brewery and we've been impressed with every single one of them. And so this one. They kind of get off the hook on if it's not good. It's probably because it was aged too long but if it is good then it's just another one in the lineup that they have that we've been impressed with what was that when we did last year old number one or something like that. Yeah that was a really good. I know I'm famous for not being a huge IP hop Yeah but that was great so them excited try this one. Yeah so Burton and Joel are not here tonight. They are in New York City for the weekend New York City and they went to the Giants game tonight in the Bronx which is not too far away from Brooklyn here and see what we have so it's really nice and also it I mean it doesn't smell very hop you so that might have definitely mellowed out. Add to that it's a definite mellow over time. Super clear through his it's one of the most like transparent bears I seen kind of a light copper color. Yeah. The couple I want home floaty is just particles but they're pretty clear a clear head is so slim but sticking around for a while. It's not like dissipating super quickly on their own when I get kind of dry for reason current kind of yeah I get a little bit of a car bomb all to this is a pale ale right is that what they're classifying it as yeah I guess so it's an I don't know I would call it an I.P.A. it's six point nine percent. I went to high for just what they call a pale ale but it's called East India East India brand paleo is what they call a real interesting flavor almost reminds me of back that stone green tea but like this almost like a black tea it has like some of the dark tea kind of. To it it's super and mean it's the epitome of what like an East Coast I.P.A. tastes like. I don't know
if that was intended or if it's just because the hops of you know faded away to nothing but it's pretty multi But it does have that tea know of. I don't want to call it Tea. I don't call bitterness but the tea bitterness you know. There's some fruit here too. I'm surprised at how fresh it tastes as old as it is. Yeah. It actually has kind of a fresh tasting a little bit fruit flavor. You know a lot of really good flavors coming through on this. It's just as well. Bodied it's it's complex for especially for the age of it. Yeah it's kind of on the brighter spectrum there's not a lot of bitterness here. It's very drink a bowl low bitterness for a six point nine percent pale ale. So you said fruit what kind of fruit would you and I try to answer I think I taste the same thing but I can't pin down. I would say some type of melon honey do or something. I won't say watermelon somewhere between like one hundred Unocal where it's not as sweet as I do but not as healthy as a cow yet that I get almost kind of like like green grapes that are overly sweet green grapes that they're kind of dried. Yeah I Khorasan but not quite. Or is it. Somewhere in that range. I think that's fair. As long as this. Beer has been sitting in the beer the devolved I think it turned out really well yeah I agree. You know I wish personally that someone could figure out how to brew this exact style of beer. I want like a I.P.A. that all the hops are out of and I think like this totally works for me I like to see
all you need to do is buy all the I.P.S. I think on but I'm thirty three year and a half. There are going to love them all I have really I think this is really enjoyable I could drink this. Yeah I am I'm shocked at how enjoyable this beer is. I've
not had a bad beer for. Brooklyn Brewery. After the show. I'm going to expert enjoy and say Hey while you're there you got to go to the brew this brewery and check it out. Let's get into the beer new lines of the day with our I'll start with the. The most boring story of the day the one everybody's already heard right right. The authorities have just approved the merger of A.B. in bed and has your bush and S. a B. miller the two largest beer companies in the world are now able to merge forces in
the United States. However. They did put some pretty strict conditions on the merger and those conditions being that they have to spin off all of its Miller Coors holdings in the United States which includes Miller and corps held brands and so basically it's an A.B. in bit gets all of the other brands for Miller and in Coors right. Miller Coors Tepfer Miller in course at Miller in course which is a lot. Yes but so. Basically the new company A.B.N. bit of will control twenty nine percent of the
world's beer supply. And generate an approximate sixty four Bill he had to in annual revenue. So that's that's pretty crazy. I do think that it was fair in there. I mean obviously these companies want to get bigger and merge and you know do their thing. But it's going to they kind of lay down the law and said OK you can have Miller and bud wiser and Coors in the same company you have to spin. Those off and right. Let them do their own thing. So what was the percentage who said that they are going to go twenty nine percent that's a big number but I think if you if you really consider over the last what ten years all the craft breweries are opened up. I think without those it would have been a huge number. Like I mean I just feel like the market and I think you're only talking about like a maybe a one percent difference. So one percent. Yeah yeah I feel like it's because it cracked very briefly or in America is huge in the world this twenty nine percent in the world and a lot of
countries. The biggest countries China being one of them crappier means nothing. So this author wrote this article talking about craft beer names and how they like the opening line is unlike the supply of baby names which is replenished whenever a celebrity couple names their kid after a direction or a piece of fruit the number of beer names is more finite. So they're talking about Northwest. And Apple Yeah. Seems that outlets are narrow and although you know after a game of thrones names there was the name their kids now. Yeah the beer companies can't really do that because they all need to talk and talk about what kind of beer. They are. So you know she goes on to say via the author that you know some of these bigger names are absolutely atrocious
now. They range from sexist such as Big Night Sun's panty peeler to the Dallas blonde from Deep Ellum and on the bottom of the bottle says it goes down easy. You know to bad puns such as from El Smyth job or the nut or Oscar blues mama little yellow pills little pill little yellow pills and you know new Fingal some bigger names are just coming up like they're not even trying anymore. She says. I've never heard of this one but treehouse is Julius. You know. So the point of it is that I think part of the marketing outlay is that if you come up with a really good craft. Your name right. People are going to know that and they're going to buy it for the name of the beer. And I really think that's true because a lot. I was over at the store and say oh that's a great name you know yeah we talked about it with filthy Phil. Yeah and you know definitely the name of the beer will peak our interest. We're also running out of names you know like it's hard to come up with a good name now. No I mean a lot of places come up with a name and then they have to change it change it because somebody else already came up with it and we're almost you know five thousand craft breweries now all naming twelve different beers they're making there's going to be some repetitiveness Yeah. So here's a quick little news article beer bottles will soon include a reality check. And that reality check is a calorie count. So why. Yeah I don't get it either. So a twelve ounce bottle of sterile Stella Artois contains one hundred fifty calories. Whereas a bottle of Budweiser Select only one hundred twenty. So the perience to trade group of some of the biggest Piri names as are Bush Miller Coors and Heineken amongst others. Ed of have announced that they're you
know they want to be involved with this initiative and be more transparent about their product. You know personally I think that those companies you know they control most of the Light beer category and they're you know they're promoting something that's good for their brand versus really trying to help people. I think on the flip side there we could turn this into a whole new beer drinking game like who can drink the most calories in a night right. You know. I'll nominate myself. That's the
problem is that so one hundred twenty calories for a Bud Light ninety calories for a Miller Lite. Eighty eight calories for a Michelob Ultra you know they're all trying to go for the low calorie game and that's their market marketing you get a searing
of it a torpedo. To forty to fifty. There you know you drink six of those in there and you're done for the day man. If that's all you get so it really gets high with the craft beer so we're going to see if craft beer follows suit. It could be and be in the thing where everybody has to put their calories on the bottle which I think more information for people is better. Yeah but like the story said. Ignorance is bliss. Yeah I don't think it's really a matter we've I mean there's been calorie counts on food now for thirty years. I'm not in any health in net nobody's really change their way you know when you're on the look at the menu at the restaurant and says thousand calories you like Abu Nidal You thousand really good man. All right we got one more before the break. This is from Eugene Oregon cop Valley brewery. This is the Alpha Delic I.P.A.. And this is a brewery that has been appearing more and more in our stores here in Northern California and up and coming and so this is the one that we see on the shelves a lot. Yeah and I'm looking forward to this. I didn't even realize this was the same burry as the citrus mistress until I looked at the picture of the bottle. It's a good name. It's a good name great name they have this one. I think off adults a great name in Alpha Centauri is a great name so color wise it's kind of a cloudy golden color dark golden color about two fingers of white head. You can tell. None of the house faded in this one. I smell so that the really seen this thing you can just sticks to the side of the glass like you wouldn't believe. Look at that is going to cease fire. It's I'm so looking forward to this it's a sticky hop aroma. You know it's fresh like. Sticky fresh resinous Yeah it is it's like you're running through a field on a warm summer day. This is as excellent. This is one of those beers where you when you see a twelve ounce can of beer and you think oh I might have paid seven or eight dollars for that seems kind of ridiculous right. But me you have this and it's just like eating fine dining where it's just so much better than in the other thing is says a great beer. I got to say it's not bad at all. It's a little bit sweeter than I expected. Yeah visit me some some like grassy notes. Yeah there is there's bready it's a very Brady beer with in conjunction with a lot of grassy hops. It reminds me of in the getaway reminds me of drinking or like that we shot from. But it's very fresh very tasty. I can see that. And a little
bit little grassy Yeah I think that Mel was really hobby but I don't get that in the taste as much. I mean it tastes pretty bitter like it's got some bit of a nice bitter finish but it's if you're an I.P.A. fan. He'll enjoy this beer one hundred percent. Yeah this is quite a good I.P.A. I mean we come to expect that from beers from Oregon. They have such a good hop supply up there where you kind of get spoiled by every I.P.A. you have is good at it but this is no exception. This is quite good. You know I give it two thumbs up. And that's saying a lot not three. I only have two from a guy that doesn't like I.P.A. is that's saying something right we're going to take a break and when we come back we have a strange brew from founder's Brewing Company Grand Rapids Michigan and hopefully none of us are allergic to mango. Plus an I.P.A. from Dogfish Head and one we've been saving for a while from Full Sail there reserved two thousand and fifteen. If you enjoyed this public asked and want to help us out one of the best ways you can do that is by telling your beer drinking friends about us. cast so your shopping through our website helps us keep the lights on here and we really appreciate it. Welcome back to the beer they podcast. This is a segment that most people that have listened the show before are familiar with it's a strange
brew that we find in our fridge in the case of tonight where it's a kind of a beer draft where reach pick two. This is what I pick so that we could have the segment. This is from founders Brewing Company Grand Rapids Michigan. Mego Magnifico ten percent beer. It's always interesting to see how much mango they put into the mix here us think this is Chris catamarans favorite beer such as mango. I don't I don't get a mango on the nose like no but Stephen. I get through to the east. Sweet fruit you like it's like a champagne you know white wines now I have a little mango and he cheated he looked on the violet looked at the bottle and something surprised me. There's something weird going on there is something weird I want to see he has picked it up. I don't know if I would catch it if I didn't know it was there color wise aroma. It's a nother golden color beer pretty dark pretty clear a hazy mist but not cloudy two fingers of White had I should have tasted it because I was going to tell you
what I thought it smelled like and when I tasted it. It completely confirmed that one hundred percent confirmed it. They aren't Dasa tasty free before you spill the beans. I know it's not in the beer but this is what I taste and smell. And it's awesome. Someone took. Someone took packages of old candy and some mash it up into pieces and put it in his beer isn't all that it's a beverage. Yes it's Pez. Now there's Peppers of peppers a little bit. He is a fin this is that much the ONLY for Dal that he got of you know and told me that magnifique go I'm diggin this is going to be magnificent main go in my translation. What it is they were kind of pepper. But you know says mingle with the hint of hob in euro and it says malt beverage fermented with mango and so the first thing I smelled in the aroma was the pepper like just the smell of pepper. And then the taste though you get the head of the I don't know if I call it has candy like but it was kinda like me go and then the the heat from the pepper just comes through. I wouldn't call it hot but there's definitely like the kind of thing that would give you serious. Heartburn kind of taste like acid reflux a little bit as someone who suffers from serious heartburn every day of my life. This is not the beer for me although I think the flavor though I kind of I mean I like it's the alcohol content is not mellow down at all and I think that's why they ramped it up to ten percent because it is so sweet to me like almost unbearably sweet but then having that pepper in there. I think it does balance it a little bit. It is we pepper room they have our most poured out there. I don't think Dallas is ever poured out of beer on the show ever. Ever and that was he took one sip of that and then I couldn't drink a glass of this but I don't think it's horrible. Though I think if I had been warned. I could've taken a smaller sip. But I took a big ass up of that and. And I paid the price I was waiting for that's why so right before we came back from commercial Dells like because I looked at the bottle. Oh damn. What do you would you find I think I will get on the show you know what I wanted that reaction if you tell us are pretty good that you got it all right let's get into another good beer. This is from Dogfish Head Brewery one of our favorites from Milton Delaware. This is their squall I.P.A. nine percent and it comes in the big bottle. I've had so many Dogfish Head I.P.A. is every one of them is different. I would say so I'm looking forward to trying this one has been the theme so far and I don't have beers unexpectedly they've all poured very clear and very light pores and the color. This is a little more cloudy though a little cloudy a little more orange colored It's
like a very light orange color. I know that's all going to change in our next year. We have a pretty good thick white head on aroma wise I just get kind of a simple slight hop aroma nothing too out of out of the out of bounds. This is an older one. And this is very new. You know as a twenty sixteen limited release. It's well I.P.A. It doesn't have any other description on the bottle. So I don't like that idea like when the beer lets you figure it out. I don't know if it's because it's called a squall or not but the aroma I get is kind of like an ocean he waters the water you know like there is a freshness to the I.D.C. like if I were. If he had a fruit tray out and he were smell it. That's what it would smell like yeah it's not overly bearing you know overbearing or anything like that. It's just that I need a little refilling because that is my throat is kind of getting hotter and hotter and he did watch some of that it's catching up to me. Wow that was the worst fear. I don't know if there was no redeeming quality. Don't ruin what you're picking up you know it's not my least my worst fear of the day I just had my first sip actually it's very reserved. It's fruity it's not like bitter at all. It's the team is Dogfish Head I have ever
had nine percent. You would be screwed. Yeah. You could drink this. Are you sure this is one person who could drink this so fast as the bottle said everything that I am percent. It's fantastic. Yeah that's B.S. session. I think you're right though I mean it is it's just so smooth and tame I mean it's it's hard to pick flavor out of it. It's it is just it's incredibly easy drinker I mean it's not a multi beer it's not nearly as multi as ninety minutes sixty minutes sixty one minute. One twenty any of those it's like less multi than those and the hop character is very mild it's not super happy. There's no like pine or there's some of that like tropical and tropical yaps that there is it's more of a fruity beer but it's I can see there being some like mosaic in here. They need a bottle as this is it's a beer they need a bottle and six packs and sell you know mass production because this is awesome. This would be so also one like a rafting trip. And you know you have in your in your cooler going on the river with you and ends in a story of they were drinking our afternoon trip five left or came back. Is there saltiness to like I almost hate the name of the beer because it's either trying to lead you there or it's really there. I
think it's there. I mean yeah the the Roma the taste the characteristic it's just like. Ocean water just you know this huge mist of ocean water just came up and hit you in the face and watch out for that incoming transmission. You've got mail. Kind of a slow. In comments on their the day we want to read your comments on the show so don't be shy. You post them on Twitter at beer the day you posted on Instagram at beer the day site. So are all over social media. So this week on the website. Last year I took some pictures of lion in
Kugel summer shandy and both of those on the website and as a joke. It's the summer beard. There's nothing wrong with it. It's very light and very good will it serves a purpose. Steve Zubar posted this is not a beer and then John Janes three one two posted green beer I give it a five K. I don't know if he was being sarcastic. I don't think so. I mean hey there's a beer for everyone that's the great thing about beer is that there really is a beer for everyone and everyone has a different taste
some people are going to love a light beer is something we're going to love a happy beer and that's is that that's the perfect summary right there that's true. Last week on the podcast we featured a beer from the brewery called Mogul Wednesday. It was something like nineteen point six percent. I had a tough time drinking it that's fine. It isn't saying but we featured that on the website this Wednesday. Gary Crawley sounds very tasty. Now the flip side of it. Of this is that nineteen point four percent. I guess we need to find it and try it. Maybe my carry it with swaps the store probably that Wal-Mart. I don't know burned in Salzburg this is an amazing brew Paddy Robert salmon a go get one for me kid talking to her her friend. So it moved the needle more commas the normal. I mean we would like comments on every beer that we post there but it was good that Mocha Wednesday got it for you. He just posted every Wednesday on our last show we did order County Show. Jeff and I and our friend Kevin did a show on Orange County beer says Chris Underwood is the shit I agree that was a beer they today record this on Saturday night and I love L.A. from noble works was the bigger the day to day and I love that beer I can't wait to try more of this bar Burlington visit absolution South Bay brewery Laguna Brewer. All right will do that mater never it I'll take two of those who are right now. Joshua David Snyder someone said to me so far from Firestone Walker of the Java parabola I'm assuming he's talking about is that there's a Java rob a job yet. It's like coffee I think the. Feed promises and so long. It is that guy needs some beer. So we thank you for all the comments. Remember sense of comments to us and we'll read them on our next show and someone send Joshua David Snyder series thirsty very thirsty are listening to the final beer the day this is the brewmaster reserve twenty fifteen from Full Sail brewing. Hood River Oregon. Definitely following along with our very light colored beer thing here. Now this is as dark as coffee two thousand and fifteen. We've been saving this one for a while and I've been looking forward to trying it as well as good this beer is dark is dark dark brown. I'm not saying it's black and since dark brown. I'd say it might people like. The head is dark tan colored Yeah. Brown. Bordering on Brown. And if you look at khaki off off the rails. I don't even know we had this beer in the fridge just cried this. Well it's Mel's so sweet. Alan Sugar like to see roll to see roll Brown Sugar didn't he. Melted with your so it's so sweet smelling you melted tissue roll and he's had the like cooking in your in your kitchen you look up you know brutally kind of like a peanut brittle E.. Now I'm pacing the peanut. I guess I'm about characters Yeah I do. That's a good call. Coffee coffee. Maybe toughie coffee and coffee combined get off eating coffee coffee. I might I'm looking forward to this and I'm not looking forward to this because. It's one hundred degrees today hundred four. And this is a burden barrel aged Imperial Stout this is not what I do you know what though it is I mean when I think when you try it you'll be pleasantly surprised that it's very smooth. The Dow. I think very well
done. I mean it doesn't taste heavy it is ten point five percent and I would call that like the low in of the style for sure. Yes So it is pretty mellow. I'd say get the dark roasted malts get a little hint of molasses that sticks to your tongue and gives you that sweetness that kind of lingers on a little bit maybe just a touch of Mocha I don't know coffee or suppress So you know a little bit dark dark dark dark chocolate not the bitterness though maybe not that hard it is a little bit better
though I mean just very slightly in there. There's some bitterness. Yeah but I want to call it a Chocolate Stout maybe a little touchy caramel That's pretty awesome because it honestly. Leaves me wanting a little bit more body. It is maybe just a little bit light for me in terms of like yeah I wouldn't be I would agree with that I would call it. You know quote unquote a session of oil per barrel laser proceed out of half or said OK let's drink a bowl. This is one of these where it is where I could drink this whole bottle. If I opened it and then I would sit and watch T.V. and drink it and you but you know happy at the end of it. Most of the style. I I couldn't I would want to share it with somebody because it's just too much. This is very enjoy a bull. Super easy to drink but it has a lot of character. I mean it's a little light but it still has a lot of character. Yet as I'm staring across the room right now at the brewery. Solti B.B.L.S. which you did on the show last two weeks ago.
Yeah from Jeff's house our previous episode that was sixteen point four percent. I had to. I'm drinking. I would rather drink regular bourbon than that this beer is the exact opposite of that six percent less but seventy percent more drinkable there's just enough of the bourbon taste in here where it's not no burn at all but for people who like that and that's why they're looking for it in a bourbon Erol bage a very very little you get the ferry over. Yeah it's weird because they do the bourbon barrel aging there's they get the bourbon barrels and the bourbon left in them and they don't always use it so they don't really say you know you know how much of that bourbon was left in there probably not a lot at ten point five. So there's not that burnt is not a lot of the flavor. It probably does use the barrels to mellow up the beer which is really I just love that style. Plus has been age for a year in our refrigerator right. And it just mails that out even more I think we probably opened it about the perfect time. Yeah I thought you could you could keep this for another five years probably and be all right. Yeah we're going to figure out what our favorite beer the day is and you want to take us through the beers we've had we can recap here. Yeah so we started off with the buxom blonde from Loomis basin. Then we had the East India Pale Ale from Brooklyn Brewery the alpha Delic I.P.A. from hot Valley burrowing mango Magnifico from founders bring company you squall I.P.A. from dock to shed and brewmaster reserve twenty fifteen imperial style from full sail. I'll spin the wheel here and see that it's me again for like the tenth we going to row. This is a tough decision because the East India Pale Ale even being age for a year for a beer that doesn't age well I like that the flavor on the. Alpha delicate had a. Great Northwest I.P.A. flavor but I'm going to go with squall I.P.A. as my beer of the day. This one was just smooth as can be it is a great tasting flavor for a nine percent completely drink a bowl. Even people that don't like to drink I.P.A. is because it had very little bitterness would be able to enjoy this beer and that's the one that is for me I'm taken squall I.P.A.. So you know I wanted to pick squaw but I honestly wish that that beer was six percent because it tastes so it's so easy to drink. Taste great it would be a great six pack beer. I wish that's what it was and said this nine percent thing that immediately goes down easy but I can drink that all the time. So because of that I'm going to pick the alpha delicate If you want if you want I.P.A. and you want to taste some grass and you goes there's like super like earthy notes you get from some itas this takes me back to that and it's this one a so fresh. I really really love that beer. Well I hope you guys are recording this going to go down in history. You're going to get I hope we are two on a episode that had a blonde and that aids my two favorite were the two that you guys picked
already squall was if anything I never thought I'd say this. I drank it and I wanted more hop and I wanted more of the flavor of a delicate so I'm going to go with the alpha Delic it was incredibly good very like and you mentioned during that that segment. It was you could tell it's very well crafted extremely well crafted and they did a great job making it valley great beer. Nobody picked the main goal Magnifico shockingly else. No. That's a close up for tonight. I think with a pretty good job here and even more importantly we got to clear out six more squats four new beers in the beer that a vault and more beers to try coming up in the future events coming up next weekend we're recording this on the twenty third one week from today is the twenty. It's the thirtieth yet and we're going to be down in San Diego at the San Diego beer and music festival from six to ten P.M. in San Diego. Thanks for the roundabout shout out on the episode, I'm the one who bought the Game of Thrones soundtracks. I hope it was enough to buy at least a cheap single 12 oz.dheliker Aug 1, 2016 at 12:43PM
